We heard cars on the track long before we got close enough to see them. I think we joined that club today.

Be fun to get things dialed in and help everything work well together.
Glad it all worked out , I too had all the same size 3 inch clamps in my LG box ( I have 2 1/2 NPP) but before taking my car apart I checked everything including the slip fit of the pipes so I did not get into trouble later when I had the car apart , Glad I did and one quick phone call and I had a new set of clamps at my door the next day

I love the fit and finish of my LG's

NFS, Midnight , I told you guys that you would be smiling ear to ear

I'm curious about what you're doing to keep your plug wires protected. Still using the stock metal shields, or _____?

Yep stock metal shields and wires just angled properly , I bought the "socks" but you really dont need them as there is plenty of clearance

This is a picture with the LS3 covers off ....as you can see all the room in the world with LG's no worries about burning a wire

Default Follow-up post

Things have been crazy at our house, but wanted to provide a final follow-up on this thread. Below is a picture showing the brackets that were supplied and the broken bits of pot metal, both the part that was supposed to be tightened against, and the center piece, too.

Kinda sad on the quality front.

The clamps I ordered from Summit Racing did the job with no issues.

The other point of sadness. While Lou replied here and suggested they really cared about what happened, I immediately emailed him, in addition to replying here in the thread. I heard nothing more from him. Guess they got my money, so felt they had nothing to gain by checking back with me. I expected more from LGM. Not again.

Its a shame C.S is such a rare commodity nowadays. I must commend Stage 8 Fasteners (which Kooks supplied) for being prompt on supplying the parts I lost, no questions asked.

I haven't noticed any fitment issues. Currently in Colombia, so can't take a look at the car.

To me what was sad was that Lou almost immediately posted in this thread, inviting contact. I replied here and directly to the address he provided. Zero response to either. Sad, to be sure.

Well I want you to have a positive experience, while I cannot speak as to why you didn't get a response. I will be more than happy to speak with you or anyone else during shop hours. I will try to be as active as possible on the forum as well. If there is anything I can do for you or anyone else here please do not hesitate to call me at the shop.

Thank you,
Evan

Respectfully - that's what I was told before. But I got no help when I needed it - and it cost me $130 and extra shop time to resolve the problems that arose from the cheap clamps that were included in the kit sent by LGM. Not at all what I expected. I was just thankful Summit Racing had good high quality clamps that they overnighted to me, so we could complete the install.

Good to be informed that we shouldn't be trying to contact Anthony.

Perhaps I should have called yesterday. I was juggling a number of things, so didn't go there, as the details trickled to me until it was later in the afternoon before I had a sense that I needed to get more involved. Wrong sized parts, life happens. Low quality parts, not what I would have expected.

Bottom line, I found that Summit Racing seem to have good stainless steel clamps of kind and size we wanted, and I'm now with in an hour or two of them arriving via FedEx. They are the same style as though included from LGM.

Hoping to have my C6 back home this afternoon, but not looking forward to the bill.

Sometimes life happens, and apparently, it was my turn this week.

Hey, I know this is an old thread but I hope you know that you can call and ask for me anytime.
Yes we have been breaking in some new sales people but I am at your service for any tech questions, ANY time.

I don't look at the PMs here much so send an email and ask that I give you a call back with any questions.

thanks again for choosing our headers and other products.

Soon the new sales force will be up to speed and I can go back to sleep again. JUST KIDDING

I second the Kooks brand...NO issues with the wrong sized clamps & Kooks includes new header bolts if you care to use them
