Ticking sounds coming from the middle dash area
2010 Grand Sport. I hear what sounds like a bunch of soft ticking sounds coming from the middle of the dash when driving. When I stop, it stops. It's not from hitting bumps in the road. Not plastic rubbing on plastic. Really weird. Sounds like something keeps resetting itself inside the dash. Anyone experience the same sounds? Sure would like to know what it is and if it can be fixed.
Thanks for your ideas.

Normal sounds of the relays of the modules opening and closing.
If you have not noticed it yet, should be getting a relay click sound as well when you touch the brake pedal too.
Also, if you listen closely, should be able to hear the fan for the cabin air sensor as well (it just behind the louvers to the left of the starter button).

One reason why the Vette stays so popular among older guys, poor hearing leaves the driver's cabin quieter.
The temp sensor can dislodge and become noisy.

With the temp on auto in the winter time and popped out of the bezel rear clip, its slow to react to the actual cabin temps, and you end up with hot flashes like the wife that is going to through the "change", as the cabin gets way too hot instead.
If you need to check to see if it popped out and is now in the bowels of the dash, just shine a light in the slots and look for the Blue part of the sensor.

Cabin Temp sensor if popped out of the dash socket and now back in the bowels of the dash is an easy one to pick up as an older guy.
