She just stopped
Driving down the street and all of a sudden just gasped and stopped
as if running out of gas, start attempt resulted in the starter engaging even when finger was removed from the start button. Flat bedded it to the dealer and later I received a call telling me that they had found a melted fuse in the fuel pump wiring. Picked it up three days later after all the wiring was checked and the tank dropped and fuel pump inspected and they informed me that they had replace the 20 amp fuse with a 25 amp fuse. that makes me a little nervous, any thoughts?

I think the 60psi fuel pump draws around 10 amps. If it blew a 20a fuse I would not put a 25a fuse in to repair the problem. Was it an original GM fuse? We got a bulletin years ago about off shore fuses that were out of spech. Possible that your fuse blew at less than 20a. They can also blow at higher than marked amperage. You want to use name brand fuses.

Check the service manual to see what fuse should be in there for the fuel pump.
If it supposed to be 25, fine. If not 1) get your car to another repair shop and, 2) call GM customer service AND the BBB to report that dealer. That is no way to fix a blown fuse.

Melted fuse means overheat usually from a loose wiring connection of some sort at that fuse. A overload would simply blow the fuse. Do you have a blower by any chance?

My guess is you are running your BAP through the fuse block fuel pump relay which over time is a major overload. You need a Ractronix harness, it wires directly to the alternator and by-passes the fuel pump relay.
