Automated Manual Transmission
Hi guys,
Unfortunately I had a stroke in February. I am now able to drive my Honda, but not my 6 speed manual Corvette C6
Is there a company that makes an automated manual transmission for that car? I already have it fixed up the way I like it so a trade is something I would rather avoid.
Thanks for your ideas in advance,
russkier

With enough money almost any trans can be adapted to any car. But; it will be EXPENSIVE! I can't think of any automated manual trans that's designed for a front engine/rear transmission car.
Your best bet is to sell or trade your car and get a C6 A6.

You can very easily convert over to an auto. It's not very expensive at all.
If you still want to bang the gears, have them install a TCI T-Com controller, and a TCI paddle shifter. It's stinking cool.

You don't say what year you have (and I'm not sure it matters....) but you could look into an A6 conversion with paddles shifters. Just like driving a manual, except no clutch...
