Fuel Line throough Fuel Rail Cover
Having never done this, how do you disconnect the fuel line that goes to the fuel rails? I would like to disconnect it at the fire wall so that it will slide threw the Fuel rail Cover.
Thanks!

Autoparts store to pick up fuel line coupling disconnector tool,
Ridge side pointing back away from the fire wall around the hose in front of the coupling on the fire wall side, push the coupling forward toward the firewall, push the tool ridge edge into the coupling to push the coupling connector rings inwards away from the firewall, and the coupling will pull straight back off the line.
To put the coupling back on, you don't need the tool. Just push the coupling hard forward onto the line, and the coupling inner rings that you released with the tool to pull it off, will lock back on the tube end on their own.

The FRC can be removed easily without disconnecting the fuel line. Do it when the engine is fully warmed up and it will be flexible like a noodle. This is why they made it with a slot.

But you can help your chances by edging the line slot with masking tape.
