Default DHM Low Profile Cutouts

For those that are running these cutouts, is anyone else having an issue with burning the wires?? I have covered the wires a few times and now thinking I need to cover the solenoids with a high temp cover. They work amazing just don't like the heat.

I had them on my 2004. Loved the sound of the cutouts, until one died after about a year. I guess heat got to the motor.

I now use QTP's on my 2012. A little over a year and still work like new.

Cutouts rock! Vary the sound however much you like it.

For anyone that is looking to getting a set of these, MAKE SURE YOU COVER THE WIRES/CONNECTORS WITH A HIGH TEMP COVER/TAPE!!!! I did not when I first installed them and now I am regretting it.
