Default a few questions - trans and diff swap

I am in the process of swapping the rear and trans over in my 2005 c6.

I am using a Z06 diff and a RPM tr-6060.

Is there a gasket required between the trans and diff?

Do I have to disconnect the clutch pedal linkage if the torque tube will stay in the car?

I broke the clips on the VSS harness, does anyone know where I can get another connector?

Thanks.
