Default C6/C5/Z06 Videos!!!

Well, at the risk of having no comments again, I'll go ahead and post a few recent videos...

This first one is from yesterdays track day in the C6, and has an interesting view of a C6 Z06 going off the track, He was fine but his front splitter was not...

Here's another session from yesterday, with the Speedo!!

This next Video is one that Jeffrey Hart and I shot, but he did the editing. It's obviously my supercharged C5, and shows me making 3 back to back 200 MPH passes at the most recent Mojave Mile.

Nice videos - thanks for posting. I always like to see other tracks not in my area that I will never have a chance to run. Might get more responses in the Autocross / road racing section.

Joel, I don't think folks understand how hard it is to go 200 mph in a standing mile....I saw 900+ rwhp cars fail at the Miami Mile...it's not all HP, it takes a lot of planning and hard work to get it to the ground. Your car is a great example of how to do it successfully with HP that most Supra guys would laugh at...until they saw your taillights.

Experienced guys will note something odd in your 5th and 6th gear...what ratios are you running?

Also, what tires are you running? Have you checked tire temp before and after a run?

And what was the DA on those runs??

I don't think folks realize how hard what you have done is...you make it look too easy!! It sure isn't and you should be commended.

Oh, and the videos are always very easy on the eyes! And again, a lot of work both filming and editing. A lot of your time was invested for our enjoyment. Thanks for sharing.

Thank You Very Much Joe!! Yes, it did take a bunch of planning...

I always forget exactly what the ratio is, but I run lower fifth and sixth G-force gears in my RPM built tranny.

I run Toyo R888s and did not check the temps. The DA averages around 3500 on those runs.

Yes, you only get one chance to get it right when you're filming an event, and not making a film...

I enjoy sharing my experiences with others, and videos are a great way to do that, Thanks again Joe!

I saw a guy at the track a few weeks ago who had been to a previous mutual mec of ours, I could not believe what he had paid, and of course the usual story unfolded...

Very cool, sometimes I like the shots from the distance as you go by more than in the car shots, appreciate the speed you actually are going as stuff flies by lol, sounds awesome... No flats in Pennsylvania to do those kinds of runs :-(

I am going to have a guy lined up on the side of one of my back mountain roads, with a very nice long straight away, and have him film me going by, with another camera or two synced up on the car...

Thanks for posting up!
