DRM Bilstein Shock GB v6.0 (Many happy C6 base, vert, GS customers running these)

I have received notice that the earliest we will see the rear shocks is late this month or early September. After hours on the phone with their sales team, I have heard all the ins and outs of building shocks on a large scale. They are working 4 shifts, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week trying to keep up with demand at the plant. But still behind on production dates. The news saddens me, but they (we) will not be hanging out to dry, as all of us are working hard to make it happen. If there was more that I could do to speed this up, I would in a heartbeat. But at this point my hands are tied.

Also I have been getting a ton of calls and emails about getting more shocks. We have 100 more sets coming down the pipeline, at this point no ETA.

Randy, please post or drop me an IM when you have a full sets in and ready to ship (05 z51, rubber bushings).
With me, its a guessing game when I will be home long enough to receive them, and with luck, you will have a set ready to ship the same time that I will be on holiday at the CO house to receive them.
As for not pre-ordering them and the price higher, not a problem, since again, it all about timing and being on holiday at the house long enough to receiver them, instead of UPS throwing them on my pouch to sit there for months with me away to be stolen instead.
Thanks,
Dano

Randy,
Can you give us an update on delivery? I've got a track event about 4 weeks out and I would really like to get these shocks on before the end of September.
Thanks,
Scott

Hi Randy,
Any update on the group order would be greatly appreciated. The last update said the parts would be available early September at the latest but it is now mid September. I realize these are worth the wait but I'd like to know the status.
Thanks,
Tim

I tried emailing him directly at the website a few days ago.............nothing there either.
Think I'll try somewhere else.

Hey guys,
I'm still around, don't worry about that If you replied to one of the mass updates. Gmail was nice enough to make it impossible for me to pick out replies by stacking them into one giant pile of emails.
My main contact at Bilstein was out of town on business last week. He was in meeting and getting caught up all day yesterday. I'm sure we will hear something today or tomorrow about what the heck is going on.

Well I got the update that I was looking for. The rear shocks are on the "Main" line:thu mbs:
"by the end of the week" was picked up via Email. With that being said it would be late next week before we would see them. I'm extremely hopeful that will come true.

The shocks are in route from their OH Plant to their NC warehouse.
Plan A
If they show up there before 2pm tomorrow, I will go and pick them up. Box them up over the weekend and be ready for shipping on Monday.
Plan B
IF they show up on Monday AM I will run down and pick them up.
Plan C
If they show up on Monday afternoon, they will ship them up to me and I will have them on Tuesday AM
Plan D
Tuesday AM repeat Plan B
Plan E ????????
We will be sending out payment emails once the shocks hit our doors and are ready for departure. In the past we have shipped 85 percent of them in 2 days. Then the 3rd and 4th day are cleaning up and taking care of the overseas, "special" cases.
