Thoughts on 28" tall tire
I have a 2010 ZR1. The smallest rim I can move to is an 18" with keeping the stock ceramics. I'm looking for traction which I don't have at 852whp/823trq. I'm currently using a 19" 345/30/19 nto5r and turn them to dust. I'm looking to get a set of 18"s and the tire shown. I'm hearing I'll have ABS issues, codes, etc. Does anyone have any experience with these tires and rim size on their similar vette. Thanks for the help.

Not exactly with those but I run the M&H 17 inch race masters and they are great tires.
I don't know about the 18's but the 17's also say 28 inches on their site. They are actually right around 27 when measured on my car.

I have the same tires you currently have (345 nt05r's) I cant hook either...i was thinking about going with this same setup. Hope you don't mind be piggy-backing on your thread. However, i havent heard that any issues will arise. Ive had 345's on the base model for 15k miles and never had an issue. 10k miles with run flats and 5k miles with nt05r's. Making 450 on motor and 600 on spray

Your stock rear tires are 26.6" tall. Stock fronts are 25.8" tall. So, the fronts are 1.031 times taller than the fronts. That's the ratio you need to worry about. The computer doesn't care how tall your rear tires are. It doesn't know. It's only worried about the speeds your front tires are rotating in relation to the speeds the rear tires are rotating.
That said, If your rear tires are actually 28" tall you would need a 27.16" front tire (28/1.031=27.16) to have a perfect match. I know there's a range that's OK with the computer, but don't know where it's cool and where it's going to get pissed. Also, have no idea if a 27.16" tire exists that will work on the front without clearance issues.
On my '08 coupe, I ran a .6" shorter tire on the rear at the dragstrip. If I didn't disable TC, it would kill timing at the 3/4 shift every time. I got fronts that were .4" shorter and never had the problem again.

I have a 2008 Super-Charged Corvette and it had GoodYear 26.9" dia. run flats on the rear 10"X19" wheels and I chose the Nitto NTO5R P305/35/R19 27.44" dia over the same size M/T which were 27.9" dia. because after what some of you said about the A/R staying as close as possible to the same dia. And it was a good choice because with the 12" wide Nitto NTO5R I have about a 1/2 clearance on the inside of the front wheel well another 1/2" taller tire would hit if not it would be to close to work.If a 28" rear tire was a 1"-2" narrow it might not hit or not as much back space on the wheels, but then they would more than likely sticky out of the wheel wells. It might be worth doing a little measuring before getting a 28" dia. tire if it is over 8"-9" wide.
Does anyone think going from a 26.9" dia. tire to a 27.44" dia will affect A/F or the computer? I had no choice I had to have a tire with more traction.

If Budget is a question, the ForgeStar wheels can be had in 18x12 rear and what ever size front you want for about $1400 for all 4. + tires ends up being WAY less then $4700.

Only the f14 can be had in 18", I pretty sure. Also the 18" Forgestars require that you grind your $15k ceramic brake calipers, no thanks. I have a set of 19" all around cf10s with NTO5Rs, love them. But no traction.
