[QUOTE=FederalPerformance;1586396923]What the hell is a V Max ring?

It is a ring that slides into the mouth of a FAST 102 to make the opening the same as 90mm throttle body. Supposed to be a drivablity thing...who know, it was free lol.

How do i check for bad injector? i get the valve spring part because i can just pull off vavle covers and look. BTW car only has 40k miles.

My Auto C6 LS2 made 397rwhp with the following....
Intake, Ported FAST 90, Catless Longtubes, 25% UD pulley, Borla Exhaust

I'd expect to pick up around 50rwhp with a decent sized cam and would've put me right on target with your numbers.

Does the car FEEL faster? I'm skeptical of the initial numbers.
Did you ever run it at the track before? Run it again and compare the MPH.

their are a lot of different ways, one way is with a temp laser gun, check the temp at each exhaust port, header tube, no fuel, no flame, no heat, could be injector or spark, then check plug. swap that injector with one on the other side and see if that port runs cooler.

I don't agree with you on the V Max ring. If you have a 92mm throttle body and 102mm intake, it smooths out the air flow instead of having a step that the air has to go over.

If you believe that it doesn't work, then you have to assume porting the intake does no good either because porting the intake also smooths out the flow inside the intake.

Well took the car to the track and ran the same ET and MPH as before FAST intake install.

Any ideas?

sorry I don't have any answers for you. however, if you decide the 5-7hp you picked up with the fast install wasn't worth the $ let me know if you would like to sell it and recoup some of your $$ back.

what was the difference in the DA ?, get a new tuner. get rid of the v max ring, you are the only person that i have ever heard of with such little gains from the fast.

I am standing by the numbers were too high to begin with. Your numbers are where they should be with your mods. My car actually made less and it was a MN6.

that could be true, but why no gain at the 1/4, should have seen 2-3/10s

I bought one and it made my car run worse. Maybe a tune is necessary after installation. I removed it and the car ran fine. I was able to return it so no harm done.

this makes no sense to me, now if it was a 102 going into a 92 that would.

I tried to listen to everyone telling me my numbers were wrong to begin with so that is why I took it to the track. I actually think the car slowed down. the track was 1000ft not a 1/4. It ran 9.73 on street tires, took it back with FAST102 and MT drag radials and car ran a 9.71. The number are not wrong.
