Sorry for the delay, was waiting on a response from Billet Tech. I bought and sold the last of the chrome units last week. Getting housings chromed has been challenging and they're trying to change chrome vendors with no luck so far. No ETA on chrome. I have one polished remaining and they're polished to a high luster. Polished billet retains its luster better than cast in my experience.

Let me know if that works for you

Edit:.....Now the polished is sold and I have some on order. Will be available much sooner than chrome.

What is your opinion on the clutch pulley on the stock units and should they be eliminated?

I want a black one, for my 2008 corvette. I will pay you through PayPal. Do you still have it in black? If so, how much? What do I need to do?

Hey Jim, sorry I missed this earlier.
No aftermarket company has a decoupler pulley available and the factory unit won't fit an aftermarket alternator. As far as performance, Many factory Corvette alternators lack the decoupler pulley and I never hear a complaint about it. I have only had one customer ever claim he can "feel" a difference between running with and without one. My best guess is that you'll be able to run an alternator with no decoupler pulley and not notice the difference at all. If you purchase one and within 30 days you decide that it produced an undesirable result, ship it back for a full refund on the product with only the cost of shipping withheld.

If shipping to the lower 48, send 541.00 via PayPal to blownbluez06@gmail.com and include a message with your forum name and a good contact# for you as FedEx requires it. I currently have 2 in stock and if you pay by tomorrow afternoon, I'll have it on the way to you on Monday.

Thanks for your support!
So, are the prices posted still viable? If so, do you have any Black units in stock (need one yesterday for my 2012 GS ) ?

Did you have to use a new belt? And if so did you have to use a different size?

I apologize for the delayed reply. I'm on vacation this week and away from my work computer. If you'll PM me after next Monday, I'll work you up a price. Please let me know what finish you'd like as well.

Updated the comment. I'm going to continue the pricing for our members indefinitely.
I got inundated with orders over the past few weeks and we're out of stock and Billet Tech is waiting on new housings to be finished in their machine shop. They'll be ready any day and I expect ( am hoping) I'll have my new batch of polished and black by next week. We can save some time and drop ship part of my order straight to you if that helps. If you'll send me a PM, I'll see how soon I can get one pulled from my order and drop shipped and reply with the answer.

Thanks for your continued support!

Finally got around to installing the polished 170. What a difference in charging. ALWAYS at 14.6 amps. Thanks,
Jimmy

Let me know the next batch of black units comes in. Next mod on mine. Seems to be getting a little low on the charging side.
