I'm trying get a parts list together and have a lot of plans so I want to save money in some areas "like exhaust doing muffler mod and obx headers". Main question is are the 1 7/8 headers with 3in x pipe actually what they say are they actually 3in collectors and 3 in x pipe? And it will be catless if it matters

Just making sure that the 1 7/8 headers with 3in x pipe are actually that size and not like 2.5 in or something dumb

Do a search on OBX headers. You will find answers to questions you did not know to ask.

Well... if you order the correct set for your year Vette, you will get exactly as it is described.

They have 1 7/8 with 2.5" and 1 7/8" with 3".

See that's my question I read about guys ordering 1 7/8 with 3in, but they claimed to receive 1 7/8 with 2 1/2in x pipe-collectors. Just making sure that what it says is what you get because obviously I'll need 3in, thanks for the input guys

I think that's more of ordering error on their part.

Just be sure to tell the vendor what you need and I doubt you have any issue.

Ya I have read a lot of them shrink to 2.5 inches for the cat back just making sure the ones that claim full 3in do not shrink
