Default Exhaust manifold question?

Will the C6 Z06 exhaust manifolds bolt up to the C6 2005's LS2 correctly? Thx

Yes. You'll need C6 Z06 cats and midpipe also. Then you'll either have to get Z06 over axlepipes/mufflers, after market Z06 mufflers or cut and weld your stock mufflers.

I'd say to at least upgrade to a Z06 aftermarket header or catback system if you are going to the trouble.

If you have the M6 then it is a true bolt on swap you can install the entire Z06 exhaust from exhaust manifolds to the mufflers. The A4 will take some instant modifications to fit

Nope, We installed it on my 2005 A4 and my son's 07 m6

here is a link of an installation on the A6 http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-t...tall-help.html

If you do a search you will find many threads regarding installing the exhaust on the A6.
The problem areas are:
1.) spreading the mid pipe to fit around the trans
2.) fitting the 3" inch pipes around the trans
3.) Keeping the heat away from the various lines & etc.

Thanx for the link but I'm still looking for some photos of a stock install ZR1 or Z06 system on an A6.
