Default Need Help from "Texas"

I guess some of you guys have seen my post where I blew up my LS2 on the dyno.. well bottom line, the shop found me ....

an LS3 engine out of a 2013 Camaro it has 3100 miles on it.. NOW the GLITCH...

Anyone hear of this place....

Discount Auto Salvage
Address : 3965 East Main
Grand Prairie, TX 75050

That is where the engine is coming from, I called them & now I hear the car was also on fire. but the engine compartment was untouched

If anyone in TEXAS knows of this place or it's reputation can you let me know .... or if your close to it can you look for a 2013 totaled Camaro that was on fire...

The engine is supposed to arrive in NJ on Tue. or Wed. of next week.. Aug. 20 or 21..

I'm thinking of sending it back if the engine compartment looks like it had "BIG" fire in it... Any Help would be greatly appreciated...

Sorry, in Houston so no help with looking at the car.

I would venture to say a majority of car fires start under the hood, so look out....

Good luck.....hopefully a Dallas member can get you squared away.

San Antonio, So no help here. I don't think they would ship you a damage engine. All should be good.

You should specify "Grand Prairie, Tx" and not "Texas", lol. Most people not from Texas don't realize just how large this state is. Something could quite literally be 10-12 hours away.
