Default The A4 is in the Z!

Its finally in! Rodney@ RPM and his guys bailed me out in my A4 install. They did an amazing job and quick too! It looks like the car came with an auto. I have a little bit more trans tuning to do to suit my personal tastes but man am I loving it!
My Yank SS4000 feels just as strong as the last one!
ok.... now to the nuts....
After driving the car this weekend I predict it WILL run 10.8s (and maybe better). I also think it will be 1.4 60s as well.My only reservation on quicker is that I only have my tiny tires from the black vert to try it. The only mod done so far is headers because I was too lazy to put the manifolds back on just to run it once. I have NOT tuned it at all other than turning the rear O2s off because I left them off. I am still running cats and the stock muffs. I have not installed the CAI or anything else.
The weather is looking good for a wednesday night test and tune so I will be there to test her out.
In about 2 weeks the heads and cam and CAI and PTB are going in and hopefully I can start climbing the Z06 fast list!

I bet this is not the pic you want Jeff...lol...it is uuuuugly

I'm having a intermittent mis fire code too. Does anyone know if HP will identify the trouble cylinder? I checked the boots several times and one of them is touching the header... not sure if it can spark thru that much rubber or not.

You can log each individual cylinder for miss fires in HPT.

I think those 275s (especially if those Hoosiers are still fresh, and I think they are) might still get it done, until you do the heads & cam at least. Remember, bigger wheels/tires = more weight/rotating mass as well.
As for the misfire code, be sure to check your plugs and coil packs as well of course.

I put a kevlar sleeve on the number 6 and swapped the wire to a different cylinder.
My DRs are over a year old. I saved them all last summer and fall to use at MIR. I wanted to do a lot of things(remove front sway etc) but it is going bone stock except headers for this trip. Forecast is good for tomorrow so I should get to run.

Why not spin it to 7k like stock, to help with poor shift extension of A4?

Hope the track holds a better launch lol. They prepping at all or are there any big tire cars you can run behind that might lay down some rubber?
