-RELEASE- LG Motorsports Track Box TPMS Eliminator kit
-RELEASE-
This is what you have been waiting for, a complete Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor Eliminator kit for your C6 Corvette.
Remove one more hassle from your Track Day enjoyment!!
This handy device will allow you to plug into the body control module of your Corvette and completely remove the tire pressure monitoring system with no ill effects to the car. Great for road racers and drag racers that have been plagued by tire pressure sensor issues for years. No more will you have to face those dreaded error messages or bothered by the computer when you install your track wheels and tires.
Always forgetting to turn your Traction Control off before a run? Another cool feature is that this will also allow you to start the car with Active Handling and Traction Control completely turned OFF so you don't have to reach down and hit the button if you happen to kill the car before a run. Your TC button does still work so you can turn those systems back on even with the box plugged in and running.
Kit comes complete with box, wiring harness, and instructions.
Currently fits 2005-2008 Corvettes
MSRP $399.95

What would be awesome if you guys had a way to change the pressure value for the alert for people who drive on drag radials who still want to know if pressure is low. IE alert comes on under 16# rather than under 24#..

The problem with all the eliminators is that if you actually lose a tire you dont know.
I run my Mickeys @ 18# cold.. 20# warm and they are fine except for the stupid "warning below 24#" message.
if i us an eliminator and really get a flat or low tire i have no way to tell. Being able to change the value the BCM uses would be awesome!! set it to say 18 or 16# and then have it work like stock, just reading a lower value.

If you have run flats on the car, yes it would be harder to tell if you had a flat but I think most of us would know on track.....
If you have a race tire, be it a road racing tire or a slick...you would know without question if the car had a flat on it. Remember TPMS hasn't been around that long and people were not scared to drive their cars 10 years ago without them.....just took a few less than talented people in Ford Explorers to roll them that someone said you had to have them. Wait til they make back up cameras stock because people can't look behind them when putting a car into reverse.
With that being said...this is designed for a track car customer. If you want to put your stock tires back on the car and use the sensors, simply un-plug the box and plug the wires together and the car runs just like what it did before.

Final production units are on the way, and we have simplified the install so there is only a single plug now instead of two.

So, just to clarify, does this module work by essentially tricking the car's computer into thinking that the TPMS sensors are present and working and that tire pressures are normal?
Kind of like a CAGS eliminator but for the TPMS Sensors?
And with the box installed, you can still run with full Traction Control and Active Handling if you wish?

All of the T/C modes are present, but currently it is set to start he car with everything turned off. Hit the button and you can scroll right back through them.

I guess that's okay as long as the T/C off indicator is lit so you know as a reminder to hit the button to turn it back on if you want it.
Still, this module seems like a great piece of insurance to avoid having a track day ruined because of a failed TPMS sensor.
Any estimate as to when this might be available for 2009 and later models?
