Default Max tire width for an 05

Can you put wider than stock on the rear of an 05?

Like ZR1orGrand Sport?

I put a 305/30/19 pilot super sport on, because I am going to buy wider wheels. It looks idiotic and doesn't fit the stock tires properly.

295 is the widest, and the price difference definitely doesn't justify it.

You want to put a Z06/ZR1 wheel setup on a BASE Corvette?

Are you doing a wide body kit?

No I had not planned on it, I had Zr1 315's on my 85 and they did not stick out, I surmise that the GS and Z has wire body panels, I did not know that.

From what I understand, they will but it won't look good without a widebody kit.

The wheels will stick out and look tacky, not to mention they can crack the fenders.

The Z06/GS/Zr1 Wheels will sit way outside the fender. The offset is built into the wheels. The hubs are in the same spot on the base car as the others.

You can fit a 325 on an 11" wheel with a perfect offset. The only perfect ones out there are custom and big money.

The Ace wheels and some others will put a 285 or 295 right at the edge of the body. Any wider and they will stick out.

My zr1 rims had a custom offset and I don't mind buying the custom offset if that is necessary, 315 wide was plenty wide for me

With the after market ZO6 rims I run 2.85x30x18 on the front and 3.35x30x18s on the rear with C6ZO6 mud guards on the rear.

Sorry wish i knew, i tried to figure it out for you on 1010 wheel offset calculator, but it really makes no sense. because they sit a little further out and in with the rim being 1.5 wider, but no offsets i entered show that
