Sorry. I got tired of people ripping off my work to make a profit without even a nod to my credit, so I took it down.

Dedicated Motorsports has all the equipment.

So, on this link; ( http://www.dedicatedmotorsports.com/category-s/120.htm ), would my car need all (3) items listed for the C6? Or does the DSX Flex Fuel Kit contain everything needed?

What are you wanting to do?

The map sensor is a totally separate product. The ethanol display works with the flex fuel setup but isn't required. The flex fuel kit itself is all you have to have to add flex fuel capabilities (well, and tuning obviously)

The display looks neat and the map sensor is great for 05's (different ecm) but for flex fuel all you need is the one kit that's $400. That's cheaper than I remember them being actually. That's a really fair price IMO

I was just curious about what's involved to make my GS a flex-fuel vehicle. It has full bolt ons & was tuned for 93 already. I just thought it would be neat to put in a few gallons of E-85 once in awhile and get a few extra HP...E-85 also smells pretty good burning , it kind of reminds me of a drag race car.

Yeah all you'd need hardware wise is his/their flex fuel setup ASSUMING your fuel pump and injectors can handle the increased fuel volume requirements of E85

I've been watching this thread for a while and it seems like a great product, thanks Dave Steck!

My 08 A6 has a Spinmonster cam and full bolt-ons (including ported 102 FAST and NW 102 TB), pretty much everything but head work, still the stock LS3 heads. For anyone who's put the kit in, based on my mods, what kind of rwhp gains could I possibly expect going from 93 octane to basically a full tank of E85?

Is the kit even worth it if I am N/A and keep stock compression without any head work?

Lastly, I have a stock fuel pump with FAST 65 lb injectors, and last dynoed around 460 rwhp. Could my stock pump handle the extra requirements of E85, or would I need to upgrade the pump or run a Boost-A-Pump?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Depends on the tune, but ~15-20 on a NA car is pretty common.

Stock pump maybe stretched, could add a BAP and get there easy enough. Or just try it. Should have enough injector.

Just add the DSX flex fuel kit, have the tuner setup the tune, and enjoy. Going flex fuel was one of the best things I did to my car.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Kit ordered, setting something up for March or April

Dave informed me that the 2008+ pump could handle 550-600hp on e85 n/a. That's without a BAP. All you would need is 50lb+ injectors.

(05-07 pump could very well handle the same as well. I'm not sure I only asked about 08+)

WOW. 550-600 on E85 n/a?? Thats way more than i would have thought. I figured the LS3 pump ran out of fuel around 600 on 93. If e85 requires 30% more fuel is he saying on 93 the stock pump would be fine at over 700rwhp?

If so i'll be making the switch to e85 very soon.

It is. But the basics aren't that complicated

Plumb ethanol sensor
Wire ethanol sensor
Turn on ethanol sensor in tune
Tune for ethanol
Hope you have enough pump/injectors for ethanol

Is there a common sensor kit people go with? Or does everyone just straight up by the GM sensor.

https://ecumasterusa.com/products/wh...=8318137925693

This looks like it has everything required. Not sure if there's a cheaper path.

Seems like I'm throwing money out if I can just buy the sensor for $75

https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/...E&gclsrc=aw.ds

Does anyone know where you can buy the connector?

DSX makes a full plug and play kit but it isn't the cheapest option (but it is probably the best). I'm sure there are some knock offs out there as well

I just bought the sensor off amazon and the connector/pins from digikey or somewhere like that, but I was doing a custom fuel system so it wasn't bad to add in at that point

Look at the DSX kit
