Default New oil pump with cam swap?

Aloha gang,
Have a 06 z51 6 speed. 42,000 miles. I need to change my crappy wobbling pulley. Figured I might as well do a cam swap since I'm half way in there and port my intake. On my c5, an oil pump was a must upgrade. How about the ls2 oil pump? I have 40psi at idle now. Seems like a high pressure pump already? I got the car with longtubes, vara ram and electric water pump already on it.

To install the cam the front cover needs to come off which gives access to the oil pump. How many times do you want to do this procedure? Plus it gives piece of mind which at 42K is something I would prefer.

I did a cam swap at 11k and changed it just to be safe.
