Default LS2 MORE POWER, Any help?

Hey everyone
Wanting to add MORE POWER to my LS2

Been reading so many forum threads.

Considering a procharger, but not sure.
Looked at options of cam upgrades, FAST intakes

Looking for a little more then Z06 Power, other then buying a Z06, haha

I think 500 to 600 HP would be great

Any suggestions?
Thanks, God Bless

Headers, heads, cam, fast 102 will get you close to 500rwhp (z06 country)....but for 600rwhp you would have to go fi

Edelbrock for simplicity if that matters. I chose the NA route and love it. 402 stroker (607rwhp/542rwtq)

The easiest/fastest way to go about it is to add a supercharger. ECS, A&A, even an e-force or magnacharger. For $5,000-$8,000 you can definitely be in your horsepower range without sacrificing any driveability.

Default thank you

Thank you all for your replies

How much did that cost Leavinu?

A total motor swap?

Just looked at 2005-2007 C6 Corvette LS2 Edelbrock E-Force 554HP Street Legal Supercharger, $8000, but only puts it to 554hp.
and
ProCharger High Output Polished Corvette C6 LS2 Supercharger TUNER Kit, $6200, claims 600hp

C U IN REARVEIW can 550hp be done with Headers,heads,cam,fast 102 ?

Maybe the procharger is the way to go

Does anyone know if my automatic will have to be upgraded to deal with it ?

Can my Automatic handle it ? or do i need to upgrade as well or strength it ?

Will my drive ability be solid ?

Has anyone heard what it does to the engine, wear and tear ?

Thanks again

Well over $8k to get to my current state. Like I said for the simplicity and ease of big power the FI is a great route. I didn't have the budget up front so started off stock>bolt-on>cam only>nitrous>H/C..... on and on. This was a good way for me to "step up" in power without going one lump sum.

550 hp...not with any type of drivability...500 can be managed w/ decent drivability. if you are looking more towards 550 then go supercharged hands down

Default very nice

Very Nice c6 CYAA

Have you had it long ?

Is there a lag when you hit the gas ?

What about maintaining ? Just belt changed and oil ?

Thanks

I've had it two months. No lag. ECS uses a 1500 instead of a 1200 blower with a restrictor plate. No maintenance yet. I'm watching the belt and will change the blower oil when I change the motor oil. It's like a whole new car. Drop into 3rd at 60 and leave 50' of rubber. 160 shows up really fast I may add meth and a fuel kit next year for another 100 rwhp. I'm addicted. I've had to learn how to drive all over again.

Default Awsome

Thats AWSOME C6

I may just have to go with that setup.

Is there a difference which kit you can go with Vortech, Procharger

Ive been looking around and found several used LS7 motors, but not sure if i want to go that way, or what a hassle it will be to swap.

I have 50K miles on my ls2

I would have to use a different section of the forums, haha
