Default Okay... Another Exhaust Thread

I am going in the other direction.
I have a 2007 Base.
My car already has a performance exhaust system. I am thinking it is SLP Loud.

I am looking for an ultra quiet axle back system.
I don't want to hear the rumble of the V8 but rather the tires clicking on the crack in the concrete on the Georgia highways.
If I get in the car it is for hours at a time, the current loud exhaust is just plain annoying.

A mild rumble would be OK as long as the drone goes away.

Thanks for providing me the insight.

Corsa turing may be your best bet. Search sound clips and see if it's what you have in mind.

But stock mufflers back on saves money and you can listen to the tires as you drive

I felt the same way a few years ago and I put the stock system back on. Life is good again.

If you read some of the other exhaust threads on this forum.

It is like a listening to a bunch of Harley owners, everyone wants loud pipes but no one wants to learn how to ride a motorcycle.

I bought my Vette for my work car. I will be in it 40K-50K miles per year.
When I get tired of it, the miles will be so high that the car will be virtually worthless.
I think I have to agree with some other posts and get the stock exhaust. There doesn't seem to be a shortage of them.
I found a system about four hours from here for 60.00 with low miles.

The system on my car looks new and appears to be these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2009-2010-20...0fc1ed&vxp=mtr

It sounds good when I am at 4K RPMs and above running through the mountains.
But at 1300RPMs it just sounds like crap.

I don't have anything to prove by owning a C6 and I don't want the popo to hear me coming.

I truly do appreciate all of the feedback.
The Corsa Touring looks splendid and the clips sounded great.
I also like the looks of the GM Performance.

I am thinking, I will give the Stockers a try. If it is too quiet I can always try something else.

Anyone have stock available in my area?
Atlanta, Chatanooga, Knoxville, Asheville, Greenville...
I would be happy to clean out that space in your garage and pad your wallet a little.

I am not ready to trade.
Just because the SLP might be a selling point in a couple of years.

If I do buy another touring or performance exhaust after the stock system, I will get rid of the SLP.

I appreciate the generous offer.
I do like wrenching on this car. My last car was a G35. It was a PITA to work on. Everything was difficult and time consuming.
