Had a customer tell me that Fangs are "preventive maintenance". Thats a good way to put it. He said it as in changing your oil before you spin a rod bearing.
To Protect your lower radiator support before its gets beat up and broken.

I'll put my two cents on this item. Installed them while back, and believe they saved my front, cause more then once I overdriven the parking blocks, and have to say no damage to front thanks to braces installed. They are easy to install, and they work.

I put mine on with Goop, haven't hit anything yet to test, Modified them slightly because of the welds on the c6 that weren't there on the c5. When they do hit they glide rather than scrape.

OK, so I have a 2012 GS and I just removed the chin spoiler as I finally hit something hard enough driving out an inclined driveway to tear loose one of the C-clips in the middle. I actually like the looks better without the chin spoiler and I like the looks of your fangs. However, looking at your site it doesn't appear like they will fit onto a GS. Can you confirm for me please? Thanks.
The picture you are looking at is on a C5. Here Is a C6 Picture.
They do fit the GS. We have them in a screw on version and a glue on version.

Just noticed some roughing up of the Fang on the left side after coming down a very steep driveway. Better than on the support! Still glad I went with them, but would not recommend drilling. The glue works just fine. And the radiator supports are weak enough without putting holes in them. Kind of defeats the purpose, imo. Definitely worth getting.

The Fangs protect the lower radiator support/skid plates. They don't protect the valence/bumper cover.

I am not sorry I bought a pair of fangs. My undercarriage looked almost as bad as the one in the picture. It looks much better now.
I am though disappointed in the kits. They could have been so much better.
1) My kit was incomplete, so I had to scrounge up the missing pull ties.
2) The fangs for a glue on c6 kit are sort of short. They stop before the rubber spoilers. I would have thought that they should have provided more protection. I dont mind spending $60 for $8 of parts, but I think they should have spent the extra 42 cents and made the protection better.
3) I thought that there was not enough gorilla glue.. But I was wrong here. The glue will more than expand to fill and overflow... All over the place. Make sure your lower valence is waxed well. It made peeling off all the overflow much easier. The overflow on the outside of the fang should be peeled off before it fully hardens or it will be a mess to deal with.
4) They also get cheap on the emery paper, I got tired of dealing with the tiny scraps and got some larger easier to hold pieces.
