Default Wheels Spaced and lowered GS. PICS!

I went with - Baer Billet Wheel Spacers.
- 1/2" in the front
- 3/8" in the rear

Car has been lowered 100% on stock bolts.

And yes before someone points it out that the license is visible.....It still has the dealer plates so I don't care.

That looks awesome!

Wish I could ride around that low, but it's low enough with the '05 Z51 around downtown LA. And mine doesn't even have that front splitter which would be toasted in no time.

Did you need to change the studs on all hubs for the spacers?

That is beautiful, indeed. Where'd you get them? How easy was the install? Totally improves that overall stance of the car. I'm assuming they sit against the hub on the inside of the rotors?

I LOVE the clear markers. It's main improvement is that it doesnt look like a standard GS. And at night.......seriously you can barely tell that its a corvette. Its looks like an exotic.

I order the parts through Lethal Performance here in San Antonio and I installed them myself in my garage. I have taken many a corvette suspension apart so I am familiar with how everything comes on but this is definently a good days work. You have to COMPLETELY have the hub off in order to install the longer ARP bolts. Then you have to have an impact drill to pull the bolts into place. It is almost impossible without it.

The spacer goes on after the rotor is inplace and it sits perfectly between the wheel and rotor. It is barely visible.

The ARP studs cost about $15.00 shipped per set of 5 and the Spacers are about $75.00 shipped for a set of 2.

Looks great. I like that you kept a little rake which is good for aero.

Really nice stance..very well done & it looks fantastic. Assuming you lowered it on the stock ride-height bolts & your suspension is all stock GS, how much/many ribs did you cut off the front & rear bolts??

Looks GREAT!

I'm curious as to how you got it that low on stock bolts? I lowered my '07 on stock bolts and couldn't get it down that low. I am about to take delivery of my '13 GS and want to lower it on stock bolts as well. Think I read somewhere that you can cut the bushings to go lower. Is that what you did? Any insight is appreciated.

So just to clarify I bought this car used and I have seen these bolts before and now that you mentioned ribs Im thinking that this car has the lowering bolts from a vender and I was able to lower it all the way on those bolts. There were no ribs of any kind when I was under there. I guess that would explain it.

On multiple threads that I have read cutting 2 bushings off and leaving the third is the eqivalent to what I have done.
