I really want to thank Nick the mech, for not only getting the car done in time, but getting it right the first time and getting it up the hill.
A big thank you to Richard at West Coast Cylinder Heads for his excellent work. And last but not least, thank you very much to to Ryne at Cunningham Motorsports for specing out the cam and tuning the car.
The DA was not quite as good as it was last time out, but I still went about 2 MPH faster with the extra power. I did not beat the 2 ZR1's that showed up today, they both went between 180 and 183.0. I didn't feel too bad, since they were both pullied with headers, a tune and meth. A stock ZR1 has never done better than 178 at Mojave.
I went 179.4, 179.6 and 180.6 MPH. Here is the 179.6 MPH run on video.
JB was anyone at the finish line making sure you let out? Wondering why you didn't take it to redline and see 200...
I would have loved to stay in it, but they are very strict on lifting right at the end of the mile.

I have a Callaway, since it gives me the best air flow to my rad and oil cooler for roadracing...

Thanks buddy!!
Thanks Guys, there was also a LS3 Grand sport with an edelbrock superchager headers and meth going 178, and a C6 LS2 with an A&A kit making 10#s of boost going 176 MPH...
I know there are a lot of varables on the course but has anyone figured on paper what RWH it takes to run 200 in the mile.
My memory from my miami mile thread two years ago was it was about 800rwhp +- at about 3200 lbs in a Vette. I saw only two do it on our 1300 DA day, a twin turbo Vette and a souped up Supra.
