Auto to Manual, which rpo code to change in BCM?
Hi,
Okay I'm getting ready to trailor the car over to the GM dealership since I can't get my hands on a GM Tech 2 tool.
My question is, which RPO code do I change since I did an Auto to Manual swap.
Its a 2007 corvette convertible.
I'm thinking these are to change:
MX0 change to MN6 (merchandised trans - change from auto to manual)
MYC change to MZ6 (transmission - change from Auto to 6spd Z51 trans gearing)
Or are there more things to change when going from auto to manual?
I dont want to leave the dealership and then need to go back since the car isn't exactly in a running state.
Thank you.
Also, can anyone with a 2007 Auto Convertible and Manual convertible put a picture up of their RPO codes so I could compare rpos (glove box sticker)

Got it all done, bought a Tech 2, didn't even need the laptop just plugged it in and it gave me the option to change it from AUTO to MANUAL, and a bunch of other options a swell.
Literraly took 1 minute to get in the menu change it and the car now has Manual trans BCM provisioning.
Thought I'd share

not too bad actually. Put it this way, I bough a wrecked car, had front frame welded on, so had to put everything together like factory make sure every bolt is accurate, did heads/cam, ls9 twin disk and bunch of other mods including wide body, and A6 to M6 conversion.
Its definitely mind boggling at first when it comes to wiring but once u figure it out its pretty good.
I do love the Tech 2, worth every penny just in love plugged it in, gave me options for the car, checked off no DRL (hate DRL) and no A6, only M6 and bam done.
The ECM I got an M6 one, the BCM used tech 2 to tune.
So to answer the question "a learning experience" I could do it over again no problem
