2005 flashing head unit - how to fix cheaply?
My 2005 has a Boise stereo. About 30-50% of the time the head unit flashes & as well the AC unit cannot be adjusted.
The question is what is the most affordable way to fix this problem? If anyone has specifics, it would be really helpful. Someone mentioned to me I can get the unit rebuilt much cheaper then replacing it. If true, I do not know who rebuilds these units.

do a search in the c5 section. they had the same problem and you could take it apart and fix the bad soldering connections. there is a link on how to do it. i did mine and it fixed it. i don't know if the c6's have the same type unit but at least this might lead you in the correct direction. the sodering of the connections was real easy by the way.
