2008 Master Cylinder port sizes?
Hey Everyone,
I am trying to retrofit a C6 booster and master cylinder into my 1971 Camaro and running into a snag and figure I would ask the experts here.
I spent a few hours online and not finding much info on what size ports were used on the 2005+ master cylinder version.
I know the C5 uses two sizes while the C6 uses one size on the ports.
But the only information I could find was this
05-Present C6 Corvette - (2) M12x1.0 SAE metric inverted flare
So this is kind of confusing as the person called it a SAE metric and an inverted flare. The other years used bubble flares.
I tried to look for a tube nut in that size and it wasn't giving me anything and leads me to believe that's some sort of typo.
Can someone tell me if this is correct, or what the correct size would be?
It would help a bunch -thanks again

Ok, think I am finally finding what I need, these two fittings should do the job.
I have 1/4 and 3/16 tubing on my stock lines. I'll just re-flare the ends with a inverted flare and use these
12mm x 1.0 male steel nut with non-threaded lead, 20mm long overall
Standard European master cylinder nut
This nut works with both SAE (45 degree inverted/double) and DIN (bubble/ISO) flares
Use with 3/16"/4.75mm brake tubing
http://store.fedhillusa.com/m63.aspx
And
12mm x 1.0 male steel nut with non-threaded lead, 20mm long overall
Found on: Bosch ABS units, European Trucks - French built Mac trucks, Unimogs, etc.
This nut works with both SAE (45 degree inverted/double) and DIN (bubble/ISO) flares
Use with 1/4" brake tubing
http://store.fedhillusa.com/m84.aspx
Now get a tool to do inverted flares and I should be golden
Thanks to anyone that was going to make an attempt to help me but I think I am good now

I thought I had some pics, but basically I cut off the end and threaded it with a tap and die and put a female threaded eyelit on the end and adjusted it to the length I needed.
Be sure to get a pare of DSE reduced angle booster brackets, and you'll need to grind a little off the inside of the brackets so the booster sits flush.
