Default C6 exhaust question

I bought a used c6 z with corsa exhaust on it. When driving the car I would hear a squeak from what I thought was the hatch but later figured out was the exhaust. The springs seem to rub on themselves and I'm just wondering if this is normal or it's an aftermarket spring causing the issue? I tried to put some plastic tubing around the spring to quiet it down and it's worked so far. The springs are near the rear end of the torque tube.

I'm not familar with this issue however, You might try to rub some type of grease or even WD-40 on them to help with the squeak. If that doesn't work for you then you will need to remove the springs and re-adjust.

Good luck
