I don't know if that's cover under the powertrain warranty. Best to call your local dealer and find out. Usually we charge an hour for the diff service. The rates can vary so check with your dealer.

and this fluid does not need an additive; it's already part of the fluid.

I have a 2008 C6 with the Z51 package and first thing in the morning when I am backing out and turning I hear this moaning noise once I get going it goes away. Car set at dealer for 4 years on showroom floor and now only has 2K miles on it. Do you think it needs new rear diff fluid??? Or is the vette just like me kind of stiff in the morning. Had the rear whatever greased but still moans some.
