Default Question about headers

So, I am considering going with some LT headers and I have a few questions. I am looking for the best possible sound with my current BB Fusion axle back exhaust.

Should I go with 1 7/8 or 1 3/4?

Cats or no cats?

Do I need to change the mid pipe?

Should I have them coated to protect against heat?

Are there any other mods necessary or recommended when doing headers besides a tune?

I am probably going to go with LG/Kooks/AR - Any benefit of one over the other?

Again, I am looking for a setup with the best sound and not as concerned with ultimate HP. I am assuming I will be in the 480whp range regardless?

Thanks for the help guys!

1 3/4 for the street. You won't like the exhaust odor without the cats.

The coating will help with heat radiation. Is this an LS7 or LS3?
