Default Click noise with brake applied

Attempting to rule out abs ah tc alarms.

When in accessory mode or started and the brake is applied I can hear a clunk noise that sounds like an actuator. Is this normal? What is making the sound in the cabin?

Passenger side? Yeah normal. I think it's the relay on the fuse board by the passenger footwell. Normal. Some ppl wrap it with heat shrink to make it less noticeable

My guess, the brake switch attached the pedal and/or relay for the brake lights.

Brake relay in the passenger foot well, peel back the carpet at the back, you will see the fuse panel. The relay is just abnormally loud in these car and the acoustics of the foot well amplifies it. Totally normal.

Had that exact thing on a 96 xj6 jag. I lived with it for ten years before selling the it.

I know, I know, "lived with it for ten years" and didn't fix it? But it was a jag and they have all sorts of electric problems.

Actually, i wasn't completely forthcoming. The solenoid "click" every time I touch the brake. As in, while driving.

Now having said that, I'll say, that without a good stereo, it just might bother you.
