The only time I've had a CEL on my 09 Z06 is when I installed a Vette-Air scoop and an Attack Blue filter. The resulting air turbulence across the MAF was the culprit.
I removed the Attack Blue filter element and then made a difuser panel for the scoop. Everything is hunky dory now.

Haha.... Now who is flying off the handle? Regardless of the fact that you think I am being argumentative, my sole intent was to make sure neither you nor anyone else mistakes their CEL for nothing just because some are more common. Not to start a fight. Anyway my point is made, your point is taken. It's your thread so I wont interfere. Enjoy.

I bought a Lil handheld scanner from Sears for like 200 bucks...best damn thing I ever bought. Scans, shows the codes, after you repair it you clear the codes and run an emissions check while your at it. I fixed an 02 sensor and ran straight up to the state inspection facility and passed....nome of that driving 50 mile crap.
