Will possibly need to add an NPP.. Have some questions.

Does the standard/non-NPP exhaust sound like a mild NPP, wild NPP, or a different sound?

What are the differences in mechanism between the OEM NPP and the NPP in a box. What is the problem/ hassle step in installing an OEM NPP that NPP in a box makes doable?

Any other option other than NPP mufflers that has wider sound spectrum? (quieter mild and louder wild sounds). Costs?

Please note that you will need an NPP echaust system for the NPP in a box to work.
I must have misunderstood you in another thread, because I thought you said that your NPP in a box system allows factory-like operation, where it opens automatically at a certain RPM. This is not the case?

100% open or 100% closed, believe me you do not want them opening at any rpm, why do you think owners with NPP from the factory remove the fuse or install mild2wild. RPM opening is so annoying

Default Question

I have a '08 C-6 Vert w/o NPP. Just purchased NPP Mufflers from a '10 C-6 base. Will these mufflers fit an '08? I think I heard something about a revised rear suspension starting in '09 and the exhaust pipe was revised to accomadate the revised susp. To me I think that the '09 and up NPP will fit '05 and later, but '05 to '08 will not fit '09 and later. Am I correct in asssuming this? Or did I get the wrong ones? I want to add the NPP in a box but need to know if the mufflers I bought will fit. Thanks in advance!

I thought they were all the same but you might want to ask this question in C6 general section, you will get answers fairly quickly

As per your statement :
"MUFFLERS NOT INCLUDED
GM Muffler parts numbers
2009 and up need
10354706
10354705
2008 and below need
15879288
15879289"

This is what got me thinking I had the wrong mufflers.

Is this correct? As a follow up I will also ask in "C-6 General section"
Thankss

Is there any other place to mount the control module, other than the RH cubby?

Just ordered npp in a box. Do you have any photos of the installation, behind the rear carpet?

Thanks anyway. I figured out how to install behind the right tail light, without drill any holes.
