S. Fla PBIR TnT 3-11...last cold front of the year???
Looks like the cold front tomorrow might be the last cold front of the season for us...down to 49 degrees Friday night and PBIR has Midnight Madness.
Anyone care to go get one last crack at some cool weather?

"Cool",
...so I'm coming up with Tom "Caliente" and "Dart 427 Corvette" Ron.
Who else is on your own club entry list Joe?
btw, need tickets to your "10 SECOND LOUNGE" Gent!

I can't make it!! Car is at HPSales having cam removed and replace with something I can live with. If the converter checks out to be OK with the new cam...I should be up and running by Monday. Looks like I missed my last chance for some good racing weather. MIKE

Just got the call from Theofel....Horsepower Sales got his car done early!
(when's the last time you heard of that happening...???)
He'll be up at the track tonight! Will be interesting to see how the smaller cam compares to stock and the huge bump stick he was getting 10.7's with last week (in the heat).

Videos from PBIR 3/11/11
Had a great time at the track again last night...wonderful to see old friends Gtodoug, Bowtye8, Jeremy Preston, Rapid Rick, Ron, Dino, Chuckster & Mary Beth, Tkr (Tom), Tom in his Caliente, Scott in his Superbee... Evenings at the track are becoming quite the social event.
Dougie got his new PB (and his first run in the car)...he's showing great promise. A little work on the launch and he's solidly in the 10's. Car and clutch were flawless and that stock cam got us 29 mpg on the way home and was smooth as silk.
Dougie, I hope the bug bit you, it's fun to welcome another Vette owner into the Southernmost Vette Racer club!
Way to master that burnout with no line lock on the first try by the way! And your shifting sounded great.
Tkr got another great run, 1.53 60 foot, solid 10.50 from his cam only Z06.
Boytye8 got his new PB...I think a fresh set of tires and you'll be knocking on the 10 second door next winter, in your Vararam/Tune only car!
Dino's knocking on the 10 second door in his 91 Vette, Dino's Toy. You will not find a cleaner car...he's a waxer and a racer!
Some other friends out there...
Tom had his 65 Caliente, a 289 4-speed w/ a cam out there. Super clean car, running street tires. Great to see him out flexing it's muscle vs. just sitting looking pretty in a car show! Get some slicks Tom and join us again.
Retrotech's (Rob) old 493 stroker lives on in Scott's 1969 Superbee...running 10.20's on a 100 shot and carrying the wheels a nice long way in the meantime!

Jeremy was there in the 454 lsx Z28 that's certified down to 8's I think. But he didn't get traction at the launch. Too bad as it's a wheelie machine!
