The new Comp Cams 1.8 rockers

Nice, now I get to bolt on some TFS cylinder heads and still run my car as bolt ons only!
Yes I run at RP all season long in the Corvette Challenge Pro 11.50 index class, lots of fun.
I know Carmen (and Dennis too), used to see them at the track all of the time, I'm friends with a few of their customers as well.

I am looking to do the new comp 1.8 roller rockers part #16755-KIT on my full bolt on Ls2 the mods I have now are K+N intake,LT headers, high flow cats, xpipe, B+B bullits, fast 102 intake manifold and a recent dyno tune.I want to keep this a full bolt on car so thats why I am not doing a cam. I spoke to Brian at Hinson super cars about power gains, but I want to hear from anyone else who thinks what gains I will get making this change from the stock 1.7 to the 1.8 rockers.
I didn't want a cam at the time. I got the rockers because, after doing some reading, several forum searches and having a discussion with my friend Spinmonster, I expected to gain 12-14 HP from the rockers. I would expect something similar for yours, holding design differences aside.
Now, I have the cam and heads and the rockers are in the basement. I'd do the rockers again under the same circumstances.
For what it's worth, I like the rule that says, "if it touches motor oil, it's not a bolt on." I'll be pissed though, if I get a new car and put only headers on it and spill some oil on the headers!

I installed the Vinci Crane Quick Lift rockers, 1.8 ratio.
There were three major reasons I opted to install rocker arms over a cam.
● I have a modest horespower goal.
● While I personally installed cam in my 2002 LS1 T/A, the cramped front of the 'vette looked like a nightmare for cam installation.
● Moving up to higher-ratio rocker arms is potentially worth some power-and is a quick and simple bolt-on that can be accomplished in less than a day, without opening up the engine.
Vinci Crane Quick Lift pros:
●Better geomentry for better results. (For explanation, see article below.)
●No interference with stock valve covers.
●Stiffer pushrods are also included in the Crane kit, as experience has shown that the stock soft pushrods are one of the LS-series engine's weak links.
●First CNC machined from super strength alloy, then treated with their "Mikronite" process to increase strength and durability by reducing stress-riser cracks and surface inclusions.
●They're purty!
Vinci Crane Quick Lift cons:
9 hp - - not quite Crane's claimed 20 hp, but then again the engine still has the stock cam with no drivability issues.
Because they employ poly locks and guide plates, this can scare some ppl as the valve lash must be adjusted manually. But follow the (excellent) instructions for zero problems.

My Dyno sheet. Before and after Vinci Crane Quick Lift rockers, no other mods, no tune.
Since dyno runs took place some weeks apart, YMMV.

My Dyno sheet shows the before and after Vinci Crane Quick Lift rockers, no other mods, no tune yet. (Waiting for warm weather to bolt on my headers.)
Since the dyno runs took place some time apart, YMMV.

I was told by HinsonSuperCars that they're heavier than stock.

I didn't think they were lighter either. Up until somewhat recently I think all aftermarket rockers were heavier than stock, hence one of the reasons why so many of the top performing heads & cam packages still retained the stock ones as long as they were in good working order.
