AC problem
If the car sits over night or for several hours the AC works perfect. Just sit the temp you want & it does it's job. However if you say stop for a drink and come back out 10 minutes later the AC will only blow hot air. I've tried fooling with the recirulate button but that does nothing. Any advice will be very helpful since the temps here are 103 with a heat index of 115

Early '05's had the A/C freon overfill. Fixed by removing some freon.
You don't say what year your C6 is. Mine had this, and would blow hot air when it got over 120 degrees in Havasu.
Second, many times odd electronic gremlins can disappear after a reboot. So a disconnect of the battery for 10 minutes or more might reset things straight.

You don't say what year your C6 is. Mine had this, and would blow hot air when it got over 120 degrees in Havasu.
Second, many times odd electronic gremlins can disappear after a reboot. So a disconnect of the battery for 10 minutes or more might reset things straight.

Mine is an 05 Mn6. I have a SLP402 motor with a Paxton SC so I'm sure that will account for some extra heat. I've had the battery disconnected for days several times while sending the pcm to SLP for a different tune. Sounds like I need to get someone with AC experience to check the freon.
I fixed mine by removing a 2 phfffts worth of freon. Actually a friend of mine in the A/C business did it for me during a curbside consult.
If yours still gets cold real quick otherwise, you might try releasing just a bit to experiment and see.
I eventually had mine done properly via warranty, but it made no difference over my 'repair'.
