Default 06 Vette vs SRT8 Challenger and Charger????

I have an 06 A6 LS2. How will my car do compared to the SRT8 Challenger and SRT8 Charger? I'm sure those cars probably weigh about a grand more? What say you?

But they don't know that. I get looks and revs from the R/T's which would get dusted by the SRT8's.

Had a SRT8 charger hound me on the way home from work last summer until I finally gave in, I didn't even get out of second gear and he was in my rear view. At the next light he pulled up and apologized. Then I cruised the rest of the way home with a big smile on my face. Those cars are sloths.

as well. Those cars are FAST for their size/weight but stock versus stock an LS2 Corvette will win every time.

Our 300C SRT8 runs 12.7x's @ 111-112 though I have not run it in a while. CAI, Tune and ported TB. Stock they are all low 13's/high 12's @ 105-109. It's not a problem for a C6 but far from a sloth.

What a strange time we live in where a car capable of 12s stock is considered a sloth.

I guess we should all drop down to the C5 forums and let them know their cars are all sloths too, huh? They run similar times.

The new SRT8 Challanger would easily smoke any of the 70's Challengers in every way.

Its good to see this happening, who would have thunk it...the ugly slugs of the 80's and early 90's were pretty depressing for those that lived through the real Muscle Car era.

ANSWER:

Those are muscle cars. You own a sports car.
Challenger / Charger = 1/4 mile. Corvette = highway, autobahn, track car.
No contest. On the highway, autobahn, track - - you win!
Now go enjoy your sports car

challengers/chargers are competition for the Mousetang and not much of a challenge to the new Camaro. They do weigh in at close to or a little over 4000 pounds. mid 13's is what a stock one runs.

now put that 6.1 Hemi in a 3100-3200 pound car and they would be real exciting.
