After four separate trips to the track and continually getting closer, I finally made it into the 9's and on the very last run of the day too.
In addition to being the fastest I've ever run, it's also my best ever 60ft time and not only can I lay claim to being the fastest N/A car on both the C6 and Z06 fast lists, I'm pretty sure I'm the first and only person running 9's with an A6 including all turbo, blower and nitrous cars. Thanks for looking, Christopher

Congrats! I know you had a lot of time in this project plus lots of hard work to becoming the fastest C6/Z06 A6 N/A car. Not to mention the time you spent helping others (including me). Merry Xmas to you, your Fastest N/A car and a job well done!! Regards!

Yes and No. Moved to NM, removed the tune & bolt-ons (except cai) and gave it to my gf to use.
(ye gads is the C6 slow now in near bone stock form! )
Thinking of buying a Tesla and sending it to you to make it the fastest
electric in the USA!

For a while I thought I was going to go home empty handed again (I ran 3 10.02's and a 10.018) but with 30 mins left in the day the sun came out long enough to warm up the track and help get me there.
With the stall converter I typically launch at around 1300RPM but after running the 10.018 on my second last pass, I hotlapped it after Rich (RichieRichZ06) said that I was dead hooking and suggested to my son I should try launching at a higher RPM. I think I left at 1800RPM on the final pass and my 60ft definitely reflected that.
Here's my full list of mods and/or otherwise stock equipment:
Also, I weigh about 210lbs, I had approx. 1.5 gallons of gas in the car at the time and also removed the passenger seat for additional weight savings.
As fun as it all was though it's kinda bittersweet as I promised my wife I would slow the car down after hitting the 9's as I have no interest in putting a full cage in the car. Although I'll continue to race the car I'll probably slow it down so that it'll run 10.3's in order to keep my trap speed under 135MPH.
Thanks for looking,
Christopher

Here is the video that I personally shot from my camera. I added it to my original response earlier in the thread as well.

WOW that thing sounds just the GRX from one of my favorite episodes of Speed Racer.... The car that you had to spray some "aerosol courage" in your face before you could handle the speed!
Sounds GREAT!!
How are you ever going to slow that thing down.....lol

thesubfloor, those are great numbers! Next time let ME drive your car as I'm 5'9" and only weigh 165 pounds; it's like you're carrying a 45 lb child with you.....or just lose the lard, LOL!
I love racing against fat boys, just kidding, again great numbers; under 10 sec is just awesome! Nice machine there, guy!
