Best lauch method....

1.Traction control off, Active handling kept on (one push of the TC button)
2.Shift as close to the revlimiter as you can without clipping it (redline)
3.Drop rear tire psi to 25-26 raise the fronts to 40 psi
4.launch around 3000-3500 rpms depending on track conditions(mabey even lower if the track isn't sticky)
5. Keep the coolant temp below 200 if you can, the car will pull timing as it gets hotter (its that way in a z06, I assume it is the same in a coupe)
6.Make fast flat shifts, power shifting will create more wheelspin with stock tires and hurt your e.t a bit
7. Don't do a big burnout, just enough to clean off the tires

Here are your answers.
www.rangeracceleration.com
Tons of good tips and very important fluid maintenance information there.
Change out your fluid before you go, or there's a very good chance your clutch will stick to the floor on the 2-3 shift.
Ask me how I know! Using these tips and some practice I've gone from 2.3 60 foots to 1.5's.
