Thanks, to be honest I don't understand why folks don't do more of their own work, it's part of the experience. As far as having fun... my C6 is my one and only vehicle (living in a warm climate has it's advantages) so I enjoy it daily.

cheers everyone

Any pics of the install. I would sure like to know where you mounted those cats.

The cats can be mounted just forward of the 02 sensor ports in the X pipe. There is enough straight section to make the cut in the middle of this straight section to slip fit the cats and clamp or weld. You then to keep the correct length by cutting off as necessary from the end of the X pipe.

Good numbers by the way and this was with your stock intake!

Hey guys, just checking in. I can't easily take these pictures without a lift, however if somebody locally has one that I can steal for 5 minutes I'd be more than happy to oblige.

I'll take pictures of mine tonight and try to post them up.

Ebay headers are hands down the best mod I have done to date. I also had the mid-pipe modified (if you guys read my thread a few weeks back) and installed everything myself. <600 bucks is tough to beat

My A6 LS2 dynod 366 if I recall in 100% humidity (literally pouring down on the car pulling it into onto the dyno). Operator said that was what he would expect on his dyno from an A6 with longtubes. I've been waiting to get back to the track, but the weather on the weekends has not be conducive to racing.

Glad you got them on and got a great deal on a set of quality headers

Hey Chris. I have access to a lift at my brothers shop in Gardena. If you can't find anyone else, send me a PM.
