Attack of the Clones? (New best time of 11.056@124.385)
I'm posting this for my good friend Ron Graham who's car ran it's best time ever yesterday in Sacramento - 11.053@124.385MPH.
When I said "clone" I was referring to the fact that Ron had noticed the times my car was running and decided to follow the "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" approach - he flew me out to Tucson last week and had me install a Yank SS3600, 3.42 gears from RPM and a line-lock kit from Cartek. Since my car is also making very similar horsepower numbers (440 to my 410) I was able to use most of my tune file and had the car dialed in after only 5 passes last Saturday night - hence his car becoming a clone of mine.
The car ran an 11.385 at Speedworld Raceway (near Phoenix) and since I brought the car home with to have his cage installed, I made a few more tweaks to the tune and took it to the track yesterday. With those few extra changes and being at a lower altitude, it ran the 11.053 on just the second pass of the day. We have a ported intake manifold from Cory at LS2 Portworks that hasn't been installed yet so we're hoping for 10's once we do.
Thanks for reading.

This is a Z06 killa. Do you guys realize that if a Z06 driver sleeps and many of them do sleep, your A6 equipped with those mods would be a hand full to deal with and down right hard to beat on many racing formats
Thanks,
Carlos

Drifting
So close to run 10's. The ported intake should do it.
I have my converter for sale, so if you know of anyone, send them my way. I will sell it the way it is [ 3400 Vigilante ] or I can send it back to PI and have them change it to the stall of my choice and at that point it will be a brand new converter.
I'll call you later
