you may want to ck out some other brands as well. fading, not holding in your situation would NOT be a good thing.

Mine faded badly when I would push it a little. I have not had the same problem with the 1521's yet. I have pushed them much harder than the GM ceramics and no fade yet so I'll keep my fingers crossed!

Update:
Installed C5 Z06 pads last night and went for a drive. I didn't do anything to the rotors.
- They are definitely compatible with Carbotech pads. I knew backing out of the driveway that they had bite. First stop was good with good initial braking.
- After braking hard from 60-20 three times I could tell no difference.
- Braking from 80-40 proved reliable and predicable. Good initial bite, good progressive braking with additional application of pedal force.
Time will tell how I like the dusting, but so far it looks like this is going to be my street pad.
