Are the airfilters on sale for the Z06 compatible with the LS3?08'S AND Z'S Have the same stock setup but what about the aftermarket stuff,other then VARARAM which I know is a different system for
ls3.I'm considering the BBK which says 2005-2007 vette and Z06 OR THE VETTEAIR filter thing.Not looking for gains just something different.

The 08 LS3's and the Z06s have the same air intake setup. So they share the same cold air options.

The LS3 throttle body is a larger diameter than the LS2 throttle body.
The Ls3 throttle body is the same size as the C6 Z06
The LS3 airbridge incorporates a location for the mass airflow where the LS2 airbridge attaches with a coupler to the MAF which attaches to the throttle body with another coupler.

Yes, the C6 Z06 airbridge is identical to the LS3 airbridge except the LS3 airbridge has a heimholtz box on the passenger side to reduce air noise. The MAF sensor bolts into the driver side of the LS3 and Z06 airbridge.

So what about the LS3 Stock Airfilter itself? Is it the Z06 filter, no one seems to make a drop in air filter like K&N for the LS3.

So I can't buy an 07 Z06 air filter setup say BBK according to them,because it won't fit.But I can buy any other Z06 air setup and it'll work.ODD.I guess those extra maf things on the 08 absolutely,positively need to be hooked up?

K&N site has a portion where you can register to be notified when a filter is available. I asked for notification for an '08 C6 45 days ago, nothing yet.

I called K&N last Friday, they said as of now there is no LS3 intake in the works, and they are to busy with other projects. SLP Blackwing is going to have a LS3 intake out in about a month, and thats what I am ordering for my 08.

i think he is talking about a k&n drop-in replacement filter that will work in the stock LS3 air cleaner housing, not an intake system like all these so called cold air intake kits that are out.

Well,I bought that VETTE AIR thing. Didn't want to cut the shroud all to hell for the VARARAM,nor did I want to spend 400 bucks and this seemed like a fair compromise to go with the Hood I just bought.Thanks for the responses.
