Default What tires should I get for my C6?

I have a 2006 C6 coupe. and it has 27,000 miles. Front tires are showing steel. I do not like the runflat tires, and all I do is highway driving. What is a good tire you recommend, that is good to get some miles out of it? and its my daily driver too.

Thanks, Trey

Michelin PS1 and/or PS2(s), and Nitto Invo(s) appear to be of popular choice. Personally have the Michelin PS1 (ZP) which have proven to be quite an overall improvement over the GY runflats.

Bang for the buck IMHO you can't beat the BFG KDW2 tires if you don't mind having non run-flats. I've been running them almost three years (2 sets) with no problems.

I put a set of Kumho Ecsta SPT's (non run flats) a couple of weeks ago from Discount tire.

They have a slightly higher treadwear rating than the BFG's. The Kuhmo's are definitely alot quieter than the worn out GY runflats I replaced.

BFG KDW2s, Michelin PS2s or if you do decide to go runflat, the Firestone Wide Oval RFTs are real quiet and ride well.

my .02

1. mich ps2's if you can afford them for a daily this is marginal to spend that so I did not get them. I have no personal experience but everone raves about them
2. nitto invo great traction low road noise (what I have right now)
3. bfg kdw-2 (more road noise and a tad less traction than the invo's IMO)

they are all good tires though so you might let price decide.
