Default wide body wheel and tire DR options

I have been planning to purchase a stall converter for my GS for a few months now and pulled the trigger on a PAS3400. Now that the stall is on order, I've began looking at wheel and tire options. I'm not willing to run 9.5" wide wheels because I love the look of the meaty rear wheel of the wide body. I was feeling pretty discouraged and then came across the fact that C4 ZR1 wheels(17x11") have close to the same front spacing as my 19x12" GS wheels. If my math is correct, it appears that the C4 ZR1 wheels actually end up about .150" further out(which is a win). There appears to be a MT ET street that are 315/35 17 that are 26". There doesn't seem to be a tire that's 26.6". I haven't looked at Nitto or Toyo.

Anyone else find a rear wheel tire combo that's fairly cost effective but still a little on the wide side?

There are no bonus points on timeslips for appearance. Either go with wheels/tires for the track and wheels/tires for the street, as the use requires, or forget racing and the converter.

Might just do the later..... I enjoy some casual racing but nothing serious.... apparently my priorities resemble that.

Forgestar makes a nice inexpensive wheel that is lighter and looks good

17x9.5" rim with a 315/35/17 Hoosier looks perfectly fine on a Grand Sport.

I appreciate that photo. The offset looks better than I'd expect too (at least it does from that angle). The gap between the tire and wheel well is a little large but I can probably live with it considering it's such a cost effective alternative. These wheels are C4 wheels(Front and rear) and also called "A molds", right?

The real ones are called that but mine are reproductions.
