Default First time at track 08 a6 z51

Test and tune at Bradenton last night, 77deg. I can't say enough about Mike Norris. He tuned my car Tuesday and added 160 stat and Halltech killerbee cai. First run with tc on just to see what it would do, 12.281 at 117.83. Second run was hot lap with tc off, 12.159 at 117.32. Third run after about 30 min. 12.141 at 115.65. Mike did my 04 and it ran great so I went back for his magic on this one. Power 394.9 and TQ 386.3. Don't have a scanner or digital camera so can't post anything, just thought I'd let you guys know these ls3's are great running cars with very little work. Credit to mikenorrismotorsports.com 407-616-2518. Thanks again Mike for another great job.

Very nice.
What were your sixty foot times? I'm just curious because I've heard GREAT things about the traction at Bradenton, among the best in the nation (world?).

All 60ft times were 2.0 range. Bradenton will spoil you. Clean and well run track. Prep is always good.

Runs that support the quickness of the ls-3.

Thanks for the kind words and good runs for sure. I did get a call from the gentleman who owns the Z06 you talked to. Looks like I am tuning his car Monday or Tuesday

Have fun and be safe. Glad you found the new shop and letting me work for you again. Always a pleasure.

True not as fast, they're actually faster than that. My LS2 went a 12.0 at almost 118mph with only a CAI, t-stat and tune.
But I agree it's not too many.

Nice times....I had my 07 to the track last night for the first time. My best time was 12.49 @ 116.54 w/ a 2.0 60'.......We must be close in power level since our mph's are close....My best mph was 117.01, but a crappy 2.1 60' killed the time (12.598). I can't wait to get tuned! Car is definately capable of high 11's.
Congrats

Mike did mine about a few months ago. runs like a violated monkey. i have a ticket from FLL's finest to prove it! can't stay off the throttle. it's getting me in trouble so maybe i need to think about de-tuning it.

all i really wanted was an A6 tune to begin with .

Nightstalker, We probably are close in power considering your mods compared to mine. Good runs for you too.

Ls1Lt1, I think you need to come down here in the heat and humidity and then we'll talk.
