I installed long tube headers last week and got a new best. The car is an 08 A6 2.56. Tonite i ran a 1.86 60ft 7.62@95.82. I got the mod bug. In the next couple weeks i want to add a converter and gears.

Get the converter and drag radials if you don't have them. Once you have a decent size converter, good rubber will help more than gears. Or get all 3.
