yesterday, due to the rain and other circumstances, we couldn't get a customer's car on the rack and he waited all day. We did have the dyno open....soooo....because he waited and is a good guy, we gave him a free dyno tune.
Sorry Sheldon, I hope the tune makes up for the hassle

Can you tell us what the pre tune numbers were?
These LS3 s really surprise me. I had to sink some bucks (headers, chip & exhaust) to get 350 RWHP for 1991 ZR1 and these pushrod engines do it quite effortlessly.
I am glad I purchased my 2008

I did initially take my car to RPM for some other work, but circumstances kept proping up during the day. I'll get my Z06 front brake duct extensions some day. I just remembered, I'll need tow hooks for the track too.
In anycase, my 08 is a 6MT and has NPP. I tend to run a mixture of 100 and 91 ~ to get 93. I don't get alot of chances to run WOT as 2nd gear will get me past the speedlimit alot faster than the streets allow. Therefore, unlike my other sports cars, my C6 has been babied for most of her life.
The baseline was 374 RWHP, I long suspect my car was somewhere around 375 to 383, but not terribly dissapointed either.
After Charlie spent about a good 30 minutes with my car, she pulled out a nice 396 RWHP with everything stock (there is no aftermarket filter or drop-in). The only modfication I have are clear bras and Pipe Dream's splash guards. I'm still running the same air filter I ran at California Speedway 1/4 mile track during the Malibu fires. I think it'll have to replace the filter sooner or later.
It was raining heavy when I left RPM motors, therefore, I did not get a chance to make any WOT runs. The biggest difference I felt getting up to 4,000 RPMs was how much smoother the LS3 ran. Before the tune, my car would have a rough feel/strain on WOT runs. Even running with race gas, the car still felt the same as she ran 91 octane. Now the acceleration feels like a linear pull without the struggle feeling. The engine felt soo smooth, I started to wonder if I actually lost horsepower with the tune. :P
The 1/4 mile test will come this coming Saturday. I'm guessing about 12.2 with a 60' of 1.9. But I'll see what happens.
Again, thanks Charlie for your work!
