Default TPS & Competitive Driving Mode

One tire pressure sensor went out last week and had to order a new one. My question is this - Does competitive driving mode not work if a sensor is out? I was showing a friend my car and noticed that it would not come on...

That would be correct. I had a sensor that failed on me and my "Competative Driving" mode wouldn't work. Once the sensor was replaced and programmed, Comp. Driving was again available.

Default TPS Question???

When your TPS went out did you get an error message on the DIC or just the air pressure on the DIC would not go up and down. The reason I ask is I have a extra set of wheels for HPDE events and the DIC continues to read the old reading until the reset tool is used. Just wondering if the sensor failed wheather you actually got a message!!!
